There's a lot going on in the world, isn't there.
For what now seems like an eternity, the world has become a strange, upside-down place.
Coronavirus
Brexit
Feminism
Gender identification issues
Racism
Environmental destruction
Wars for no obvious reason
(Banks that no longer require your money nor pay any interest)
If you watched the TV news over the past two decades, you could be forgiven for thinking that the topics listed above (except the latter) were all that was going on in the world.
And yet, I think it is fair to say that the vast majority of people in the UK simply get on with their lives without any of the above topics impacting their lives.
It is almost as if the TV news no longer reflects issues in the daily lives of most folk.
It is almost as if, you don't matter. As if you are taken for granted by the governments and corporations of this world who see you as one tiny cog in a gigantic wheel that needs to be controlled. As cattle to be milked until you are no longer of any use, then dragged off to the abattoir. A slave. A serf.
If you think that is the case, you are probably right.
