The new Covid vaccine - "do you feel lucky punk, well do you?"

Updated: Jul 17, 2021

I'll try and keep it simple and not get bogged down in scientific rhetoric.

The proposed Covid vaccine from pharmaceutical giant Pfizer (and minnow BioNTech) uses a strategy that has NEVER before been used in any other currently licensed vaccine.

Rather than being injected with a deactivated virus that elicits an antibody response, this new proposed vaccine actually causes your body to make a part of the coronavirus (the protein spikes), which then elicits the antibody response.

Personally, I don't like the idea of part of the coronavirus being manufactured within my cells.

What if the antibodies elicited can't get on top of the manufactured spikes, and you are doomed for the rest of your life to be constantly fatigued and constantly ill by the ongoing war raging within you? A war where your own cells keep producing the protein spikes, and your antibodies keep fighting to eliminate them, but never quite succeed.

No one yet understands "Long Covid". But it is quite possibly a syndrome caused by the failure of the human body to completely eradicate the coronavirus from itself. So the antibodies keep fighting without fully succeeding, and the result is never-ending fatigue and illness. The possibility that this vaccination might induce Long Covid is quite possibly a real one.

The question we all have to ask ourselves is "do you feel lucky punk, well do you?"
