So the knives are out for Derek McInnes. It's a shame.
McInnes has done a good job, but he has ran into the brick wall that all AFC managers seem to run into. Not enough trophies.
Basically he has done a good job of keeping AFC in the top four of the league, season after season, but he has won very little.
One League Cup success in 2014 vs. Inverness Caley, without meeting Rangers or Celtic on the way there, and only managing to win on penalties, isn't exactly a rip-roaring success,
AFC qualify for the European preliminary rounds every year then go out every year at the same stage, never reaching the group stages.
I believe the fans want a winner, not a manager that seems to treat the players like his pals.
I believe most fans would warm to Davie Robertson, the manager of Real Kashmir, and who has done his time out in India.
Davies documentaries on Sky TV were revealing. His family are still based in Aberdeen, but his ambition and drive have taken him overseas.
Here is a bloke that won't tolerate some of the nice boys that currently play for the Dons.
Get Davie in!
