When visiting a relative yesterday, went to play football at the local pitch and found it to be covered with the grass cuttings which Aberdeenshire Council clearly had no intention of picking up.
Is this what Council cut-backs have come to?
So short of money with all the cuts, they cannot even afford to pick up the cuttings?
How on earth are kids meant to play football in this mess. So much cuttings left behind, you were in danger of injuring yourself by tripping over it.
Is this how we encourage kids to go outdoors and get fit, by leaving football pitches unplayable?
Shame on you Aberdeenshire Council.
