Ruthrieston is a small and relatively prosperous area handy for both the superstores and sport complexes of nearby Garhdee and the city centre of Aberdeen. The city centre is an easy walk and there is a bus every ten minutes dayteim Monday - Saturday daytime, a bit less frequent at night. The former Deeside railway line and the backs of the Dee provide nice walking cycling routes to other part of town, and a ncie escape from the city buzz.
